This tree is an early-season producer, forming medium to large, sweet yellow and yellow-green apples in June or July. Like all apple trees, the "Dorset Golden" does best in sandy, loamy soils and full sun. "Dorsett Golden" requires a pollinator and is known to do well when planted with the "Anna" variety.
